Like many combat situations deploying a mobile tactical command center has to be done in minutes but currently it takes hours. The systems must be lightweight, able to run off battery, and withstand the harshest conditions while keeping up with the demands of military computing.
The ADDC Mobyl Data Center comes equipped with 22 BioDigitalPC®/MobylPC™ Server docking stations to form a cohesive, scalable server cluster.
The MDC-22 can be scaled from 1 to 22 servers simply by plugging in more BioDigitalPC®/MobylPC™ Server cards into available slots. Accommodating changing field requirements with minimal physical space is accomplished with ease. Adding a node to the server cluster is as simple as plugging in another credit card sized BioDigitalPC®/MobylPC™ Server and configuring it to your network parameters.
By using just a couple of the 22 slots available in the MDC-22 combined with a LTE antenna, communications from a command center can be established in minutes at the highest quality possible.
When completely scaled out the MDC-10 will allow for 10 BioDigitalPC®/MobylPC™ server cards containing 10 to 40 CPU cores, 20 to 80GB DDR3 RAM, up to 1.8TB of onboard ultra fast SSD storage, and optional expanded storage available.
The BioDigitalPC® Desktop Dock 2.0 provides the BioDigitalPC® Card with a fully functioning desktop computer experience. The BioDigitalPC® Desktop Dock 2.0 breaks out two USB 2.0 connections, one USB 3.0 connection, a Mini-DisplayPort, a 10/100 Ethernet connection to access the internet, and a power connection.
Form-factor, and function, of the BioDigitalPC® makes it the ultimate solution for any UAV project. Weighing less than an ounce the BioDigitalPC® enables UAVs to carry more payload and still operate at maximum capability.
